[Science Recorder]World’s thinnest material is stronger than steel, and might be our new energy source

Graphene sheets could be used to extract hydrogen from the atmosphere for use in fuel cells.
Graphene is the world’s thinnest material, made up of only a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a honeycomb pattern. It is 200 times stronger than steel.

This exciting new material has a number of special qualities that make it highly suitable for use in various technologies. In a potentially revolutionizing discovery, scientists in the UK have found that protons can pass through graphene.
